For MLB's "The Payoff Pitch" World Series experience, a 65-foot glass box inside the Oculus at the World Trade Center went from private to clear in front of the crowd. Powered by Smart Plexi®.
MLB needed a space that could hide a batter's box build-out from thousands of commuters, then reveal it live. Glass that switches was the only answer, and a 65-foot run of it had to be designed, built and standing inside one of the busiest transit hubs in the world on a deadline measured in days.

What is Smart Plexi®?
Smart Plexi® is a pre-built panel with genuine Smart Tint® switchable film sealed inside. It turns clear when powered on and private when powered off.
What is the difference between Standalone and Insert?
Standalone is a rigid 1/4" panel that stands on its own in any frame or channel. Insert is a slim 1/8" panel that goes over glass you already have.
Do I need a window film installer?
No. Place the panel on clean glass with the included clear tape and plug it in.
Can Smart Plexi® be trimmed on site?
No. Panels are built to your size, so leave a 1/8" gap on each side (1/4" total in width and height). We confirm all measurements before manufacturing.
What sizes are available?
Up to 48" x 96" standard and up to 72" x 120" custom. Custom shapes are available.
