Measure your opening
Measure the width and height of the rough opening. Leave a 1/8" gap on every side (1/4" total in width and height). We confirm every measurement and your wire exit location before we build.

It ships flat
Panels arrive flat-packed, pre-built, and sealed, at a fraction of the weight and shipping cost of glass.

Pre-wired, with a protective liner
Every panel comes pre-wired, with a protective liner that stays on until the panel is in place.

Set it in place
Insert: place it on clean glass with the included clear double-sided tape on all 4 corners. Standalone: set it in any frame or channel. Anything can hold Smart Plexi®.

Shim it level
Shims come with every order. They hold the panel up while it adheres and help keep it level.

Plug in and switch on
Plug in the provided power supply, connect the film wire, peel the liner, and switch it on.
Ordering and installation, in detail
- Panels cannot be trimmed on site Every panel is built to your confirmed size, so account for your install tolerances when you order and install.
- Leave a 1/8" gap Leave 1/8" on each side of the opening, a total of 1/4" in width and height.
- Start with clean glass For the Insert, the glass you install over should be clean. If it is not, use any glass cleaner first.
- Clear corner tape included Clear double-sided tape goes on all 4 corners, depending on your glass size.
- Shims included Shims hold the panel up while the tape adheres and keep it level.
- Any frame can hold it Standalone panels sit in any frame, channel, or track, like the aluminum frame at the Oculus.
- Controls your way Remote control, wireless wall switch, dimmer, or home automation. Multiple panels can share one power supply.
- A dedicated project manager Assigned to every order to confirm sizes, wire exit location, and controls before production.
